About Willow & Hearth Studio

I’m Blake, the maker behind Willow & Hearth Studio. Based in Florida, I create functional and sculptural ceramics with bold forms, expressive glazes, and a strong sense of character.

Willow is my golden retriever, and the studio carries her name because she means so much to me. I love her deeply. The companionship, happiness, and everyday joy she brings into my life inspire what I want to create: pieces that feel personal, bring pleasure, and become a meaningful part of someone’s home.

Working with clay gives that inspiration a physical form. I’m drawn to texture, unexpected color combinations, and the way glaze moves across a surface. There’s room for experimentation and play, alongside the patience it takes to see a piece through.

The studio brings together everyday vessels, sculptural work, and limited releases. Each carries the small variations of making by hand—its own contours, glaze patterns, and personality.
